Limited Prorated Warranty
Against defects in material and workmanship, as specified under this Warranty, occurring as a direct result of the manufacturing process, for the following products and components during the stated time period, under normal use and service, subject to the terms and conditions contained in this Warranty
25 YEARS LIMITED WARRANTY ON VILYL COMPONENTS
Technovision Windows and Doors warrants the main sashes and frame vinyl components of the products will be free from manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials which result in peeling flaking, chipping, cracking, blistering or corrosion for a period of twenty-five (25) years from the date of purchase directly from Technovision.
20 YEARS LIMITED WARRANTY ON INSULATED GLASS
Technovision Windows and Doors warrants that the non-laminated insulated glass of the products will not cause formation of condensation or dust on the inner surface due to edge seal failure for a period of twenty (20) years from the date of purchase directly from Technovision. Any insulated glass unit with such seal failure will be repaired or replaced by Technovision at its own discretion.
7 YEARS LIMITED WARRANTY ON PAINTED PVC COMPONENTS
Technovision Windows and Doors warrants that all painted PVE components, or door kits will not under normal conditions, peel, chip, crack, blister, flake or corrode for a period of seven (7) years from the date of purchase directly from Technovision.
1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTED ON HARDWARE COMPONENTS
Technovision Windows and Doors warrants that the hardware in all products is in good working condition for a period one (1) year from the date of purchase directly from Technovision.
CONDITIONS NOT COVERED FROM THIS WARRANTY
This warranty does not apply to or does not cover normal wear and tear, natural weathering, glass breakage, distortion or any failures, defects and/or damages directly or indirectly , caused by, arising from or connected with, including but not limited to, improper use, neglect, negligence, abuse, faulty or improper installation or insulation, failure to follow manufacturer’s installation instructions, failure to provide reasonable maintenance of the product (s) and/or any part (s) thereof, exposure to hazardous and/or harmful chemicals, any damages to wall surface or any structure to which Products are attached, arising from settlement distortion or wrapping due to extreme weather, unusual heat, movement of cracking thereof, tropical storm, earthquake, hurricane, whirlwind, tornado, cyclone gale, snow storm, lightning, thunderstorm, fire, flood, accident, vandalism, terrorism, civil unrest, intentional damage, acts of God and all other causes which are beyond the control of Technovision. Products having color changes due to normal or unusual weathering, is not covered under this warranty. Non-uniform color changes caused by even exposure to sunlight, are not covered under this warranty. In no event shall Technovision be held liable for any labour and/or transportation costs. This warranty replaces and supersedes all other warranties, guarantees and/or obligations of Technovision in all aspects. Technovision is not liable for any kind of damages incurred regardless of any warranty given on the products and the only remedial action is the enforcement of the terms and conditions contained herein. Newly purchased Product (s), are covered by this warranty for the duration as stipulated above. All replacement Product (s) and repaired Product (s) are covered only by the remaining unexpired warranty period from the date of original purchase of Products.
ORAL REPRESENTATION AND/OR WARRANTY FROM ANY PERSON, PARTY OR AUTHORIZED BUILDER/CONTRACTOR DOES NOT FORM PART OF NOR DOES IT ALTER ANY PART OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY CONTAINED HEREIN.
If any clause, condition, term or any part thereof in this Warranty is unenforceable ir prohibited by law in your jurisdiction, then such clause, condition, term or any part thereof shall be amended at the absolute discretion of Technovision and is hereby amended so as to be compliance with the said law, but if such clause, condition term or any part thereof cannot be amended so as to be in compliance with such law, then such clause, condition term or any part thereof is severable from this Warranty and all the rest of the clauses, conditions, terms and any part thereof contained in this Warranty shall remain unimpaired.
LIMITATIONS OF MATERIAL, INSULATED GLASS, AND HARDWARE
Technovision’s liability is limited solely and exclusively to repair or replacement of any components that are deemed to be defective. Replacement or repair of the defective parts is carried out at the sole option of Technovision. Under no circumstances will Technovision be liable for incidental or consequential charges such as , but not limited to, labour costs for any purpose, inconvenience, damage or injury to person or to property or any other expense.
EVALUATION PROCEDURE
If the product or any component thereof fails to operate, your installation contractor or company who installed the Product (s), is required to diagnose the problem to find an appropriate solution. However, if the problem cannot be fixed and the product is found to be defective, Technovision upon receipt of the report from the installer/ installation company along with original Invoice from technovision, at its own discretion has the options of –
- Replacement of the Product or the component only at no cost to the original purchaser. Technovision will not be held responsible for additional charges for freight s=costs, delivery charges, reinstallation charges or any other material unsed.
- Dispatch of its own authorized technician to provide assistance to your contractor to fix the problem, in which case the installation person must be present
- Refund the net sale price to the original purchaser after deduction of the value of the Product used by the original purchaser from the date of purchase to the date when problem occurs, such value is determined by Technovision.
Warranty Claim must be accompanied with Original Invoice showing the Original Date Of Purchase. Claims that are submitted outside of the stipulated warranty time period are deemed invalid.
Technovision reserves the right to change, amend, revise and modify, any or all parts if this warranty at any time without notice
